Energy Center of Wisconsin — A private nonprofit organization dedicated to improving energy efficiency in Wisconsin.

Energy Crossroads — A directory of over 700 energy links in a dozen or more energy categories maintained by the Lawrence Berkeley Lab.

Energy Efficient Building Association — An association that promotes energy-efficient and environmentally responsible buildings and communities.

Energy Ideas Clearing House — A clearinghouse managed by Washington State University to provide information and technical support for increasing energy efficiency in the commercial and industrial sectors.

Florida Solar Energy Center — A technical center that researches and promotes energy efficiency and solar energy in Florida.

Home Energy — A magazine is dedicated to housing quality, comfort, and energy efficiency. The Home Energy web site includes an index to all feature articles, some full articles, and energy links.

Interstate Renewable Energy Council — A nonprofit consortium of state and local government renewable energy officials formed in 1980 to offer a range of market-oriented services and products targeted at education, coordination, and procurement of renewable energy.

Lighting Research Center — A technology center based at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York and devoted to promoting lighting that is energy efficient and responsive to human needs.

Minnesotans for an Energy-Efficient Economy — A coalition working to improve the quality of life, the environment and the economy of Minnesota by promoting energy efficiency and the sound use of renewable energy.

National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners — A nonprofit organization of governmental agencies engaged in the regulation of utilities working to improve the quality and effectiveness of public utility regulation.

National Association of State Energy Officials — A nonprofit association of officials from the State and Territory Energy Offices and affiliates that works to improve the effectiveness and quality of state energy programs and policies and to be a collector and repository of energy-related information.

National Association Of Energy Service Companies — An organization that promotes the delivery of energy efficiency and other energy services by Energy Service Companies (ESCOs).

Natural Resources Defense Council — A nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the world's natural resources and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all. Their site includes many documents on energy efficiency under the air/energy program.

National Wind Coordinating Committee — A consensus-based collaborative that identifies issues that affect the use of wind power, establishes dialogue among key stakeholders, and catalyzes appropriate activities to support the development of environmentally, economically, and politically sustainable commercial markets for wind power.
