PolicyMap, TRF's newest service, is live! We invite you to be among the first to experience PolicyMap during this “soft launch” phase.
PolicyMap is your gateway to thousands of datasets that have been carefully gathered, scrubbed and prepared by data analysts at TRF. Whether you are a novice or someone who is familiar with the intricacies of data, PolicyMap is a powerful, easy-to-use tool.
To begin using the site, we recommend that you register on PolicyMap, by clicking on the Subscribe link on the top right of the screen. Registration is free and provides users some additional functionality such as the ability to save maps and tables to My PolicyMap.
While most of the datasets are available for free, some private datasets such as home sale data and Claritas projections are only available to paid subscribers. Subscribers can also access reports and more advanced functionality such as drawing a customized region for analysis. Premium subscribers have the ability to send TRF their own data points to incorporate into the tool and view against all of PolicyMap's existing datasets.
Our goal at PolicyMap is to provide accurate and current data to help users make smart decisions about the allocation of resources. To help you become familiar with PolicyMap, we have created several short online training modules available for viewing at anytime. You can access the training modules by clicking Help. During this “soft launch” phase, we will be updating data, identifying and fixing glitches, and adding new data and functionality to PolicyMap. We are committed to continually improving PolicyMap and your feedback is of great value. Please use the feedback links at the bottom of PolicyMap's web pages to let us know if you encounter any problems or have any suggestions as we move forward.
